lets a room

Chosen pieces

Shapes that soften a room.

Arched oak, scalloped edges, ruffled skirts and rounded linen — a short list of the pieces we would build a room around.

In the bedroom

The Marcel bedside, in light oak.

A continuous arched profile, a warm linear grain and brushed dark metal handles. Small enough for the tightest corner, considered enough to be the first thing you see each morning.

Our way of making a home

Fewer, softer, better-loved things.

We look for furniture with gentle edges and honest materials — oak-grain veneers, linen blends, chenille and cotton tapestry — in the colours of a sunlit room: beige, sand and every brown in between.

Each piece is chosen to sit easily with the others, so a room can grow slowly, one considered purchase at a time.
